International cricket

India beat Pakistan twice in the week, the second helping nudge it closer to a place in the final. ( REPORT )

Bangladesh won the other Super Four match on Sunday, beating Afghanistan by three runs to remain alive in the tournament. ( REPORT )

Sri Lanka and Hong Kong were eliminated from the tournament in the group stage, while Afghanistan, too, won its two Group B matches to qualify for the Super Four. In its first Super Four match, it ran Pakistan close and lost by three wickets with three balls to spare.
