England pace spearhead James Anderson on Sunday, became the first bowler in the history of Test cricket to pick up 100 wickets at Lord's.

Anderson got rid of Indian opener, Murali Vijay, for the second time in the match - the right-hander edging one to the keeper after the ball jagged back in sharply.

Early in the first innings, Anderson had razed through a  clueless Indian line-up, en route his 26th Test five-fer; his sixth at the Home of Cricket.

Last year, when he became the first English bowler to pick up 500 Test wickets, he pretty much guaranteed himself a place among the greatest in the game.

The Lancashire pacer now has 551 wickets in 140 Tests at a staggering economy rate of 2.89.

Anderson, currently No. 5 in the all-time list of highest wicket-takers in Test, is 13 shy of surpassing former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath (563).
