Liverpool striker Sadio Mane was pictured cleaning the toilet of his mosque on Monday. The Senegalese footballer, who scored against Leicester to maintain Liverpool's winning start to its Premier League campaign, was filmed filling buckets with water as a young boy helped him.
The former Southampton star is a devout muslim and his father was the imam of a local mosque in Senegal, where he grew up.
Mane has made a blistering start to the new Premier League season, scoring four goals in as many games.
He will now travel back to his homeland for the international break, where he will join the Senegal national team as it prepares for its African Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
