Mohun Bagan has acquired the services of Sukhdev Singh from I-League champion Minerva Punjab FC for the upcoming season, the club announced on Monday.
With Sukhdev's arrival, Bagan's squad is complete with 25 players. As per the press release, Bagan had apparently kept the signing under wraps so far because arch-rival East Bengal was also keen to sign Sukhdev. The term of his contract is yet to be announced.

The 26-year-old Punjab born defender played a pivotal role in Minerva's I-League triumph this season and will look to continue his form with Bagan as it bids for its fifth I-League title.
