Cristiano Ronaldo broke his Serie A duck by finding the back of the net against Sassuolo on Sunday.
He ended his 320-minute wait for his first Juventus goal in the easiest possible fashion when he tapped in his side's opening goal in the 50th minute. A Juventus corner was followed by a goal line skirmish and Ronaldo reacted fastest to tap the ball into the net and put his side in the lead.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner went to to score another goal in the 65th minute. Emre Can p;played Ronaldo on the edge of the box and the latter fired a left-footed strike into the far corner to double his tally of the evening.
This brace comes a day after Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri said Ronaldo would break his duck against Sassuolo. He told Marca.com , “Cristiano worked well and I think he will score. I expect nothing more and nothing less than what he did in the first three games.”
