What a contest we have had. After two low scoring matches, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand dished out a high-scoring affair with Jharkhand holding its nerve to win by 8 runs.

What a match! Jharkhand beats Tamil Nadu by 8 runs.

With T. Natarajan not available to bat due to an injury, Sai Kishore's dismissal brings us to the end of Tamil Nadu's innings at 299.

With Tamil Nadu needing 9 runs off the last 2 balls, Sai Kishore had to go big and unfortunately perished. Tamil Nadu loses its ninth wicket and the contest at 299, in 49.5 overs.

Tamil Nadu needs 13 off the last over to beat Jharkhand. At the end of 49 overs, TN 295/8. It has lost Baba Indrajith for a well made 101 (90 balls), caught by Utkarsh Singh off Varun Aaron. R. Sai Kishore and C.V. Varun with the batting charge.

Tamil Nadu is looking to make a contest out of this. B. Indrajith has slammed a century (100 off 88 balls, 7x4, 1x6) as Tamil Nadu moves to 287/7 in 48 overs, needing 21 runs to win in 12 balls .

Shahbaz Nadeem sends Shahrukh Khan back to the hut for 4 (5 balls) as Tamil Nadu slips to 242/6 in 42.1 overs .

M. Shahrukh Khan has joined Indrajith and Tamil Nadu 242/5 in 42 overs , needs 66 more runs to win in 48 balls.

Just when it seemed like it was going smooth for Tamil Nadu, Monu Kumar breaks the 99-run stand for the fifth wicket. Anirudh departs for 46 (48 balls, 3x4, 1x6) as Tamil Nadu is 220/5 in 39.3 overs .

Indrajith and Anirudh have consolidated the Tamil Nadu innings. At the end of 39 overs, Tamil Nadu is on 219/4 , needing 89 more runs to win the match.

Baba Indrajith scores a half-century. Will his effort be enough to help Tamil Nadu cross the line? He is on a run-a-ball 50 (4x4). Tamil Nadu is on 186/4 , still needs 122 to win.

Our correspondent from IIT updates: Gujarat beats Rajasthan by eight wickets! Priyank Panchal (84 off 112 balls) and Kshitij Patel (89* off 110 balls) put on a 163-run stand for the second wicket to overwhelm Rajasthan as Gujarat cruises home with ease.

Tamil Nadu is on 161/4 in 30 overs with Baba Indrajith (39 off 33 balls) and B. Anirudh (12 off 18 balls) in the middle. It needs 147 more runs to win in 20 overs. Can it pull it off or will Jharkhand tighten the screws?

Our correspondent from IIT updates:  Priyank Panchal departs for a well-made 84 (112 balls, 9x4, 1x6) is dismissed by Rahul Chahar, caught in the deep by Tanveer Ul Haq. Gujarat 163/2 in 35.5 overs, chasing 180. Gujarat is on course for an easy win.

Our correspondent from IIT updates:  Priyank Panchal launches Ashok Menaria over long off for for six before falling on the ground. He seems to have pulled him hamstring and with little attention he is back on his feet. Meanwhile, Gujarat has crossed the 150-run mark as Rajasthan is being pummelled here. Gujarat needs just 26 more to win.

Anukul Roy removes the well-set Abhinav Mukund for 63 (68 balls), trapping him LBW. Tamil Nadu 121/4 in 23.4 overs . Tamil Nadu needs 188 more runs to win.

Priyank Panchal and Kshitij Patel have taken Gujarat to a position of strength at 138/1 in the 33rd over . Gujarat needs 41 more runs to win. It should be easy for Gujarat from the position it is in now.

Baba Aparajith departs for 38 (47 balls) leaving Tamil Nadu at 95/3 in 19.4 overs . Anukul Roy takes the prized wicket.

Out-of-favour India opener Abhinav Mukund hits a 50 for Tamil Nadu, (51 runs, 54 balls, 7x4) as Tamil Nadu gets to 89/2 , chasing Jharkhand's 308.

Our correspondent from IIT updates: Priyank Panchal follows Patel and brings up his 50 too (72 balls, 6x4) as Gujarat sits pretty at 106/1 after 24 overs. It needs 74 more runs to beat Rajasthan.

Our correspondent from IIT updates: Kshitij Patel brings up is 50 (69 balls, 7x4) as Gujarat closes in on the 100-run mark. At the end of 20 overs, Gujarat 93/1 , chasing Rajasthan's 179.

Rahul Singh Gahlaut (53 off 50 balls, 5x4, 1x6) and skipper Rajat Paliwal (58 off 55 balls, 8x4, 1x6) have seen their team home. After being bundled out for 129, Bengal was never in the game. Services overhauled the target in 22 overs, losing just two wickets.

Rahul Gahlaut too completes his half-century, in just 46 balls. Services 119/2 .

Our correspondent from IIT updates: Priyank Panchal and Kshitij Patel appear to have weathered the early storm and are scoring freely. Panchal is the aggressor as he unfurls a couple of delightful straight drives. Gujarat 50/1 in 10 overs , chasing Rajasthan's 179.

Services skipper Rajat Paliwal hits a 50 (45 balls) as his team crosses the 100-run mark. Chasing Bengal's 129, Services sitting pretty on 107/2 after 19 overs .

Tamil Nadu's ship wobbling now. Varun Aaron sends Kaushik Gandhi back for 4 (11 balls), caught by Utkarsh Singh. Tamil Nadu 24/2 in 6.2 overs , chasing 307.

Rahul Singh Gahlaut (20 off 23 balls) and Rajat Paliwal (31 off 33 balls) have steadied the Services ship with an unbroken 56-run partnership for the third wicket. Services 68/2 in 14 overs , chasing Bengal's 129.

Tamil Nadu loses its first wicket. Varun Aaron removes N. Jagadeesan for 2 (4 balls), caught by Ishan Kishan. Tamil Nadu 14/1 in 2.3 overs , chasing 307.

Our correspondent from IIT updates:  Gone! Parthiv Patel out for a first-ball duck. What a start this for Rajasthan!  Gujarat 0/1 . Tanveer-ul-Haq with the breakthrough.

Services slips to 12/2 . Ashoke Dinda sends Ravi Chauhan back to the hut for 4 (13 balls), caught and bowled. Target: 130.

Bengal draws first blood. Nakul Verma is dismissed for 7 (15 balls), caught by Ashoke Dinda off Ishan Poral. Services 12/1 in 4 overs .

Jharkhand loses a flurry of wickets in the end to finish on 307/8 in its 50 overs . It was sitting pretty at 291/4 in 48 overs when M. Mohammed and C.V. Varun Kumar pulled the strings back. Ishan Kishan (85), Saurabh Tiwary (54), Anand Singh (52) and Virat Singh (48) sizzled with the bat and in the bowling department for Tamil Nadu C.V. Varun (3/61), M. Mohammed (2/41) and T. Natarajan (2/42) have done well.

Our correspondent from IIT updates:  Rajasthan has survived 50 overs. Chandrapal Singh (82 off 95 balls) and Tanveer Ul Haq (3 off 12 balls) have ensured Rajasthan bat its full quota. It finishes on 179/9 . After the lunch break, Gujarat will come back in pursuit of 180.

M. Mohammed strikes, albeit a little late for Tamil Nadu. He picks up Saurabh Tiwary for 54 (43 balls, 2x4, 4x6) caught by Baba Aparajith and Kumar Deobrat for 28 (18 balls, 1x4, 2x6) caught by R. Sai Kishore. 2 wickets in 3 balls for Mohammed. Jharkhand 291/6 in 48.3 overs .

Kumar Deobrat joins the party. He has scored 27 off just 14 balls, giving good company to Saurabh Tiwari, as Jharkhand gets to 288/4 with 16 balls remaining in its innings.

Saurabh Tiwary is playing a cameo with an unbeaten 46 of just 35 balls with one four and four sixes. Jharkhand 273/4 in the 47th over . Saurabh is the key man for Jharkhand in its quest to breach the 300-run mark in its 50 overs.

C.P. Singh gets to a 50 (73 balls, 1x4, 2x6) but Chintan Gaja removes Rahul Chahar for 1 (7 balls) as Rajasthan moves to 140/9 in the 45th over.

Jharkhand loses its 4th wicket for 246. Sumit Kumar is man out for 10 (13 balls) as he is caught by Kaushik Gandhi off Shahrukh Khan. Jharkhand 246/4 in 42.5 overs .

Ishan Porel is sent back by Trivendra Kumar for 0 as Bengal folds for 129 . This has been a mediocre batting performance. Services will have a good lunch break and will resume in the innings, chasing 130. Varun Choudhary (3/23) and A.P. Sharma (3/30) are the stars with the ball. Only Abhimanyu Easwaran (34) and Anustup Majumdar (33) managed scores of some repute.

Our correspondent from IIT updates: A. Lamba falls for 2 (18 balls) to R. Kalaria as Rajasthan in dire straits at 128/8 . Priyank Panchal takes a fine catch, diving to his right, at covers to send Lamba back.

Bengal in tatters at 127/9 in 36.5 overs. Ashoke Dinda is the next man to go for 7 (16 balls). A.P. Sharma takes the wicket.

Our correspondent from IIT updates: Five-wickets for Gujarat's Hardik Patel. He removes Chetan Bist for 44 (100 balls). Rajasthan slips to 120/7 as Patel has figures of 8.3-0-22-5.

Natarajan strikes again. This time, he removes the set Virat Singh for 45 (55 balls). Virat is out after offering a catch to Shahrukh Khan. Jharkhand loses its third wicket for 197 in the 37th over.

T Natarajan gets the breakthrough for Tamil Nadu. The 104-run stand between Ishan Kishan and Virat Singh is broken as the left-arm pacer sends Kishan back to the hut for a well compiled 85 (87 balls, 8x4, 3x6). Jharkhand 187/2 in 35 overs.

Services are calling the shots now. Anustup Majumdar follows Shahbaz as Bengal slips to 114/8 . Majumdar departs for 33 (49 balls), trapped infront by Varun Choudhary.

Bengal in a spot of bother now at 112/7 . Nitin Tanwar removes Shahbaz for 1.

Updates from IIT Chemplast: "Rajasthan has reached 100 in 31 overs. Chetan Bist stonewalling the Gujarat bowlers with a fighting 40."

Majumdar brings up Bengal's 100 in the 29th over with a boundary off Nitin Tanwar's bowling. Bengal 105/5 (29 overs)

Jharkhand reaches 150 in the 30th over with Ishan Kishan looking rock-solid at 66 off 70 balls (6x4,2x6). Jharkhand 150/1 (29.4 overs)

Rajasthan opener Chetan Bist (31 of 69 balls) steers Rajasthan past 80 runs alongside Chandrapal Singh (15 off 15 balls). Rajasthan 82/6 (27 overs)

Bengal loses its fifth wicket in the form of Bijoy Chatterjee after Varun Choudhary takes a catch off Abhishek's bowling. Bengal 92/5 (25 overs)

Ishan Kishan shifts gears quickly after Anand Singh's wicket by reaching his fifty in 58 balls. Jharkhand 126/1 (26 overs)

Bengal loses skipper Manoj Tiwary for two runs, but Anustup Majumdar smashes three boundaries to up the run rate to 4 runs an over. Bengal 92/4 (23 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast: "Hardik Patel picks his fourth, Tajinder Dhillon---undone by lack of bounce--loses his stumps." Rajasthan 53/6 (19.4 overs)

Tamil Nadu gets the breakthrough! Anand Singh departs for a well-made 52 off 75 balls as he is bowled by Varun Chakravathy. Jharkhand 83/1 (18.3 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast: "It's a procession out here! Rajasthan has lost half of its side now just for 34 on the board. Aditya Garhwal is out, bowled by Hemand Patel." Rajasthan 43/5 (17.2 overs)

Anand Singh reaches his second fifty in a row in 67 balls as Tamil Nadu bowlers toil hard to break the opening partnership between him and Ishan Kishan. Jharkhand 83/0 (18.1 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast: "Third one goes down! Rujul Bhatt is caught at slips off Hardik Patel. Rajasthan in a spot of bother, slipping to 33/3. Mahipal Lomror next man. But he departs after two balls for a duck as Patel takes a sharp caught-and-bowled." Rajasthan 33/4 (16 overs)

Services pacer Trivendra Kumar gets his first wicket of the match, as he gets an edge off Easwaran to be caught by keeper Nakul Verma. It is now upto Bijoy Chatterjee and his skipper to steady  the ship for Bengal. Bengal 51/3 (12.4 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast: OUT! Rajasthan has lost its second wicket in the space of just four runs as left-arm spinner Hardik Patel traps Robin Bist in front. Rajasthan 23/2 (13.2 overs)

Tamil Nadu skipper Baba Indrajith introduces spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Sai Kishore into the attack, but Ishan Kishan and Anand Singh look comfortable in dealing with the threat. Jharkhand 62/0 (13 overs)

Bengal is two down after No.3 Sudip Chatterjee is trapped leg before by Arjun Sharma. Captain Manoj Tiwary walks out to the middle. Bengal 51/2 (11.2 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast:  The batsmen have played a couple of shots but have failed to pierce Gujarat's strong off-side field. The innings is moving at a subdued pace-- 17/0 in 10 overs at a yawning 1.7 runs an over. The pressure to break free takes a toll as Gautam tries to steal a tight single and is caught short of his crease by a direct hit from Piyush Chawla at mid-off!  Rajasthan 19/1 (10.5 overs)

Jharkhand opener Anand Singh picks up from where he left off, as he hits seven boundaries to reach 35 off 46 balls. At the other end, Ishan Kishan is happy to take his partner to have the strike with 4 off 14 balls. Jharkhand 43/0 (10 overs)

Bengal loses its first wicket, as Shreevats Goswami departs after being caught by Arjun Sharma off Varun Choudhary. Bengal 26/1 (6.2 overs)

Updates from IIT Chemplast: Amit Gautam and Chetan Bist to open the innings for Rajasthan, Roosh Kalaria and Chintan Gaja with the new ball. It's a sedate start from the Rajasthan openers. Bist's cover drive off Gaja was the lone attacking shot in the first few overs. Rajasthan 10/0 (6 overs)

Bengal openers Shreevats Goswami and A.R. Easwaran deal carefully with the new ball against Varun Choudhary, but hit rookie pacer Trivendra Kumar for two boundaries. Bengal 17/0 (5 overs)

After a blistering knock of 139 off 91 balls against Assam on Monday, Jharkhand captain Ishan Kishan starts off cautiously against Tamil Nadu's M. Mohammed and T. Natarajan scoring one run off the first seven balls he faces. Jharkhand 17/0 (4 overs)
