Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 56-ball hundred as India cruised to a seven-wicket win over England in the third and deciding Twenty20 International in Bristol.

India needed a solid start chasing England's massive target of 199 and Rohit provided the same, despite Shikhar Dhawan falling early for 5.

He stitched key partnerships with K.L. Rahul (19), Virat Kohli (43) and Hardik Pandya (33*) to pull off an emphatic series win.

Rohit achieved another milestone by becoming the third player - in 2018 - after Shoaib Malik and Kohli to reach 2000 career runs in T20Is. "That's the style of my play, assessing the conditions was important. We knew the wicket would be nice to play on. I was trying to hold the shape when playing the big shots," Rohit said at the post-match presentation.

After sealing the three-match T20I series, India will next play three One-day Internationals against England, followed by five Tests.
