After the Indian Premier League success with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan is all set to spin magic in the T10 Cricket League in the United Arab Emirates.
The 19-year-old will join Maratha Arabians in the second edition of the league later this year.
He was one of the key pics for Arabians at the mini-draft held in Dubai on Monday.
Arabians also picked Australia all-rounder James Faulkner and retained Alex Hales, Dwayne Bravo and Kamran Akmal from the previous season.
“I am extremely excited to be playing for Maratha Arabians in the second season of the T10 League. After having played Twenty20 cricket all over the world, I was looking forward to a challenge. Playing the T10 format is the perfect step up for me. I am looking forward to playing the world’s shortest format alongside some iconic players,” said Rashid.
