Durham recorded its lowest County Championship total as it made just 61 and 66 in two innings on Wednesday to lose to Leicestershire at Grace Road.

Replying to Leicestershire's 321 on the second day of the Division Two fixture, Durham was dismissed in 28 overs for just 61, six runs fewer than its previous lowest score in First-Class cricket.

Leicestershire enforced the follow on and quickly wrapped up a victory by an innings and 194 runs, dismissing Durham for 66 inside 25 overs second time around. Mohammad Abbas finished with stunning match-figures of 10-52 having taken a five-for in each innings.

This was the penultimate match of Paul Collingwood's career before retirement and the 42-year-old Durham captain was removed for a golden duck in the first innings before contributing five in his second appearance at the crease.
