Nike released a motivational LeBron James ad on the day he made his home debut with the Lakers.
The ad features footage of a young James from May 2003 before he was drafted in the NBA. James tells reporters he doesn't feel added pressure as the projected top pick.
Nike shared the video on its Twitter page with the caption: "Just a small-town kid with big-city dreams. #justdoit @KingJames."
The ad starts with a reporter's voice asking: "How much pressure do you have to perform from day one?" James responded: "There's no pressure. No pressure at all. I've been getting pressure since I was 10 years old. I'm doing something that I love to do. And that's play the game of basketball. Y'all like to watch me play basketball.
"It hasn't kicked in yet, to what I'm getting myself into. I'm not going to guarantee no championship, I'll tell you that. I just hope they accept me for who I am as a basketball player, especially as a person. I know how to be a leader. It's just a long term, I always tell y'all that, this was one of the long term dreams that I've always had. That's just playing in the NBA."
The ad closes with text that read: "It's only crazy until you do it. Just do it."
James has since become a four-time NBA MVP, three-time NBA champion and a two-time Olympic gold medalist in addition to his accomplishments off the court of being a philanthropist, activist and businessman.
