Winter Olympics: India's Jagdish finishes 103rd in cross-country skiing

Dario Cologna of Switzerland bagged gold while Simen Hegstad Krueger of Norway and Russian Denis Spitsov finished with silver and bronze respectively.

India's Jagdish Singh finished 103rd in the cross-country skiing (Men's 15km Free) finals at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang on Friday.

Dario Cologna of Switzerland bagged gold while Simen Hegstad Krueger of Norway and Russian Denis Spitsov finished with silver and bronze respectively.

Earlier, Shiva Keshavan brought curtains down on his long career after finishing 34th in the men's luge event. He represented India in six winter Olympics.

It was nothing sort of any miracle for Jagdish to compete at the Games. Two weeks before the race, he missed his flight to South Korea from Delhi because over a confusion who will accompany him to PyeongChang.

Moreover, it was Cologna's fourth Olympic cross-country gold medal in total. Meanwhile, the famed Tongan flagbearer at the opening ceremony, Taufatofua finished 114th.
