O. P. Jaisha was taken to hospital for examination, a day after her training partner Sudha Singh tested positive for H1N1.

Jaisha, who ran in the women's marathon in Rio, was brought to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases here on Wednesday. The athlete bore none of the symptoms of the viral infection that affected her colleague but looked tired and dehydrated, and complained of aches in the body, it is learnt. Jaisha did not wish to get admitted to hospital, however, and left after submitting blood and serum samples.
