After Pranav Dhanawade’s 1009-run feat last month, Maharashtra witnessed another batting record today as Pritam Patil scored a 134-ball 306 in a 50-over game in Maharashtra Cricket Association's senior invitation league.

According to media reports, playing for PYC Hindu Gymkhana, Pritam’s knock was studded with 28 fours and 26 sixes as his team amassed 594 for six against Nanded. In response, Nanded was all out for 86 runs in 18.4 overs, with PYC winning the match by a whopping margin of 508 runs.

Pritam's teammate Kedar Jadhav (who has played four ODIs for India) presented him with a new bat for his achievement. After Pritam reached his double hundred, Jadhav had sent a message that he'd gift him a brand new bat should he reach 300.
