Kolkata Knight Riders registered the highest total of this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL) when it reached 245-6 against Kings XI Punjab at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. This, interestingly, is the fourth-highest total in the history of the IPL.

With the top-order batsmen coming out all guns blazing, Knight Riders—which needs to win all its remaining games—toyed with the Kings XI Punjab bowlers. In the process, it broke Delhi Daredevils’ record score of 219-4.

This edition of the IPL has seen some of the big scores, and Kolkata Knight Riders toppled the previous numbers to top the list.
