Cricket today is not only about men, the women have been turning heads in the recent past. The Delhi and District Cricket Association decided to honour one such woman cricketer who started the revolution — Anjum Chopra.
A month after Gate No. 2 (at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground) was renamed as Virender Sehwag gate, the DDCA has decided to name Gate No.3 and 4 in honour of Chopra, who represented India in six World Cups.

Chopra made her debut in 1995 and retired from all formats in 2012. However, she hung up her whites in 2006.
She played 127 ODIs (2,856 runs), 12 Tests (548 runs) and 18 T20Is (241 runs) for India.
It has been learnt that the DDCA has plans of naming two stands after former India cricketers Bishan Singh Bedi and Mohinder Amarnath.
